Chocolate Coconut Macarons

Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 80 g sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 175 g shredded coconut
- 200 g dark chocolate
- baking paper (for the baking tray)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 150°C.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, gradually adding the sugar. Fold in the lemon juice and then fold in the shredded coconut using a whisk.

Using two teaspoons, drop small mounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Remove and let cool well.

Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it over a water bath. Dip the bottom side of each macaron into the melted chocolate, place on parchment paper, and allow to dry.
