Ingredients

  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 Orange (juice)
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 250 ml coconut milk
  • 2 mangoes

Instructions

    Bring the sugar with the orange juice, lemon juice and coconut milk to a boil. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.

    Peel the mangoes, cut the flesh away from the pit and blend it with the syrup in a blender until smooth. Finish the sorbet in an ice cream maker or pour into a shallow metal bowl, cover and freeze for at least 4 hours, stirring vigorously with a fork every now and then.

    Serve by scooping the sorbet into coconut halves or bowls as desired.
