Ingredients

  • 1 handful ice cubes
  • 1 lime (unprocessed)
  • 20 ml orange liqueur (Cointreau)
  • 60 ml white rum
  • 10 ml Lime juice
  • 10 ml simple syrup
  • 10 ml almond syrup
  • 1 toothpick
  • 1 cocktail cherry
  • 1 edible orchid blossom

Instructions

    Crush some ice cubes roughly and fill a large glass halfway with them.

    Wash the lime, cut it into wedges – keep one wedge aside – squeeze over the glass, then drop the lime pieces into the glass.

    Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with the remaining ice in a shaker, strain through a bar strainer into the prepared glass, stir with a bar spoon.

    Skewer the leftover lime piece and the cocktail cherry, hang the skewer on the glass, garnish with the orchid blossom.
