Champagne Cocktail

Especially refreshing on warm summer evenings: Try the champagne cocktail by Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls mint
  • 40 ml whiskey
  • 4 tsp sugar syrup
  • 600 ml sparkling wine for topping up (0 champagne)

Instructions

    Rinse the mint and pluck the leaves. Set aside about half. Fill an ice cube tray with water and place a mint leaf in each cavity. Freeze for at least 5 hours.

    Distribute the remaining mint over four glasses, add 1 cl whiskey and 1 tsp sugar syrup to each. Add the mint ice cubes, pour sparkling wine over them, and serve.
