Ingredients

  • 400 g long macaroni
  • Salt
  • 4 large plum tomatoes
  • 200 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 handful basil
  • 250 g mozzarella
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

    Cook the macaroni in plenty of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, drain and set aside. Wash and clean the tomatoes. Slice the large tomatoes into rounds and halve the small ones. Rinse the basil and roughly tear it apart. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices.

    Arrange noodles, tomatoes, basil and mozzarella in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 225 °C (fan: 200 °C; gas: level 3–4) for about 20 minutes until golden.

    Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
