Low-Carb Seed Bread

With a low-carb diet you can now enjoy bread again. Delicious low-carb seed bread from Spoonsparrow is no problem!

Ingredients

  • 150 g low‑fat quark
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g ground flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp wheat bran
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 4 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husks
  • 50 g peeled hazelnuts

Instructions

    Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

    Whisk the quark with eggs, then fold in salt and baking powder. Stir in sunflower seeds, flaxseed, wheat bran, chia seeds, oats, psyllium husks, and nuts.

    Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (fan 140 °C; gas: level 2) for 45–55 minutes. Remove, let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
