With the Low-Carb Milchschnitte from Spoonsparrow, you can snack smartly – without hidden calories

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 90 g Xucker (Xylitol)
  • 45 g Almond Flour
  • 15 g Coconut Flour
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 0.5 packet Gelatine Powder
  • 250 ml Whipping Cream
  • 50 g Low-Fat Quark
  • 20 ml Milk (1.5% fat)

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Beat the eggs for the batter with 70 g of Xucker until everything is nice and creamy.

  2. 2.

    Now add almond and coconut flour as well as cocoa powder, 20 ml water and baking powder and mix everything together into a smooth batter.

  3. 3.

    Spread the batter on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread it about one centimeter thick. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C convection; Gas: Level 2–3) for approx. 13–15 minutes, remove from the oven and let cool completely.

    Prepare the gelatin according to the instructions on the packet.

    Whip the whipping cream until stiff and then carefully fold in the remaining Xucker.

  6. 6.

    Mix the low-fat quark and milk together until creamy and mix with the whipped cream. Then add the gelatin and fold it in carefully.

  7. 7.

    Divide the finished dough in half. Spread one half with whipped cream, then place the other dough half on top. Chill the ready-made Low-Carb Milchschnitten for at least two hours. Then cut into small pieces and serve.
