Cashew-Spelt Crunchy

Start your day healthy with the Cashew-Spelt Crunchy with yogurt and strawberries from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 30 g Cashews (2 tbsp)
  • 5 g Butter (1 tsp)
  • 20 g Sesame seeds (2 tbsp)
  • 2 tsp Liquid Honey
  • 2 tbsp Spelt flakes
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 300 g Yogurt (1.5% fat)
  • 2 tsp maple syrup

Instructions

    Roughly chop the cashews.

    Melt the butter in a non-stick pan. Toast the cashews and sesame seeds until golden brown. Drizzle with honey and heat.

    Stir the spelt flakes into the nut-honey mixture, spread the mixture on a plate and let it cool.

    Meanwhile, wash, pat dry, hull and chop the strawberries finely.

    Mix yogurt and maple syrup and spread on bowls or glasses. Arrange the strawberries and crunchy nut mixture (Crunchy) on top.
