Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 2 slices of toast bread
- 100 g smoked salmon (thin slices)
- pepper (ground)
Instructions
-
1.
Bring 1 litre of water to a gentle boil in a pot, ensuring the water level is about 8 cm. Add the white wine vinegar and 1 tsp salt.
-
2.
Crack each egg into a cup carefully. Gently slide each egg into the vinegar-water mixture and poach for about 4 minutes. Do not let the water boil; the eggs should just set.
-
3.
Cut the toast slices into sticks and grill them until golden brown. Wrap a few pieces of smoked salmon around each stick.
-
4.
Remove the poached eggs with a slotted spoon, arrange on small plates, season with pepper, and serve alongside the toasted salmon sticks.
