Herb Bread Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 handful fresh herbs (e.g., thyme, oregano, rosemary)
- 500 g wheat flour (Type 405)
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- a pinch sugar
- 250 ml lukewarm milk
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg
- vegetable oil (for the tray)
- 1 tbsp condensed milk

Wash the herbs, shake them dry, pluck leaves or needles from stems and finely chop. Mix flour with yeast, salt, sugar, and chopped herbs in a bowl. Add milk, softened butter, and egg. Knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Grease the baking tray.

Knead the dough again, shape into a roll, cut into 12 equal pieces. Form into balls and arrange close together (in a semicircle) on the tray. Let rest covered for another 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat.

Brush the rolls with condensed milk and bake on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes until golden yellow.
