Ingredients
- 250 g red lentils
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 3 stalks fresh coriander
- Salt

Wash the lentils and drain. Peel and finely chop the garlic.

Heat the oil. Sauté garlic, lentils, and all spices for 10 to 15 minutes. Add water until all ingredients are just covered and simmer until lentils are tender; season to taste. Wash coriander and strip leaves. Sprinkle lentils with coriander before serving.
