Lemon Granita

A refreshing dessert featuring fresh lemon juice, mint, sugar, and a splash of lemon liqueur, served with lemon slices and mint for garnish.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml lemon juice
  • 2 sprigs Mint
  • 80 g sugar
  • 20 ml lemon liqueur
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)
  • mint (for garnish)

Instructions

    Bring the lemon juice with 250 ml water, mint, and sugar to a boil, remove from heat and let steep for about 15 minutes.

    Remove the mint leaves and stir in the lemon liqueur. Pour the mixture into a shallow metal dish and freeze for approximately 5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes with a fork to prevent large crystals.

    Stir the finished granita well, pour into glasses, and serve with lemon slices and mint.
