Ingredients
- 200 g cold butter
- 75 g powdered sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 220 g flour
- 80 g ground hazelnuts
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Process the butter, powdered sugar, salt, cinnamon, egg, flour and hazelnuts quickly into a smooth dough. Shape into 3 rolls of about 3 cm diameter, wrap in cling film and chill for about 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with top and bottom heat.

Cut the dough into 1 cm thick slices and shape each into crescents. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until light brown. Let cool, dust generously with powdered sugar and allow to set.

Package in small boxes as desired for gifting.
