Lamb Chops with Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 7 tbsp olive oil
  • Pepper
  • dried Thyme
  • dried rosemary
  • 960 g lamb chops (12 lamb chops)
  • Salt
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 1 Organic lemon

Instructions

    For the marination, peel and finely chop the garlic. Mix with 5 tbsp oil, pepper, and herbs.

    Rinse the lamb chops under cold water, pat dry, place them in the marinade and cover for 12 hours, turning once during this time.

    Drain the lamb chops, season with salt, and grill each side on a hot grill for about 2–3 minutes.

    Meanwhile, wash and clean the tomatoes, cut into thick slices, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with remaining olive oil, and place them on the grill as well.

    In the meantime, wash the basil, shake off excess water, and chop. Wash the lemon hot, pat dry, zest the peel. Remove the fat rind from the lamb. Arrange the meat and tomatoes on a plate and garnish with basil and lemon zest.
