Ingredients

  • 80 g cold butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tsp grated orange zest
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice
  • orange marmalade
  • white couverture chocolate
  • hazelnut crunch

Instructions

    Knead all dough ingredients quickly, shape into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Roll the dough to 3-4 mm thickness on a lightly floured surface, cut out star shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12-15 minutes.

    Remove and let cool.

    Chop the couverture chocolate and melt it over a water bath. Brush half of the stars with melted chocolate and sprinkle hazelnut crunch. Spread a small amount of orange marmalade on the remaining stars and press them together to bond.
