Ingredients

  • 400 g kiwi flesh
  • 100 g sugar
  • 20 ml kiwi liqueur
  • 125 ml lime juice
  • 1 Egg white
  • 4 strawberries

Instructions

    Puree kiwi flesh and strain through a sieve.

    Reduce sugar with 5 tbsp water to a syrup, then let cool.

  3. 3.

    Stir the syrup with kiwi liqueur, kiwi puree and lime juice.

  4. 4.

    Fold in whipped egg white and pour the ice cream mixture into a shallow metal bowl; freeze while stirring occasionally or finish in an ice cream machine.

    For serving shape the sorbet into balls with an ice scoop, place on dessert glasses and optionally garnish each with a strawberry.
