Kale Pesto

The kale pesto with hazelnuts from Spoonsparrow is a must-try!

Ingredients

  • 200 g kale
  • Salt
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 120 g hazelnut kernels
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Pepper
  • 100 ml olive oil

Instructions

    Clean, wash, and strip the kale of tough stems; roughly tear into pieces. Boil in salted water for about 2–3 minutes, then shock with cold water and pat dry. Peel and finely chop the garlic.

    Blend the kale with hazelnuts, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and olive oil using a stick blender until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Coarsely chop hazelnuts, pour the kale pesto into a hot-washed jar, and garnish with hazelnuts.
