Ingredients
- 200 g macaroni
- 4 tsp butter
- 1 leek, finely sliced (only the white part)
- 2 shallots, finely sliced
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 3 tsp flour
- 350 ml milk
- a pinch nutmeg
- 250 g coarsely chopped Jarlsberg (®)
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Cook macaroni according to package instructions.

Sauté leek, shallots, and garlic in butter until soft. Add flour and cook for one minute.

Gradually add milk while whisking continuously until it boils.

Continue stirring until the sauce thickens.

Add Jarlsberg and nutmeg, season with salt and pepper.

Stir in cooked macaroni and garnish with freshly chopped herbs.
