Iced Tea with a Splash

The iced tea with a splash of Spoonsparrow tastes especially delightful on warm summer evenings.
Ingredients
- 5 tsp Darjeeling tea
- 1 lemon
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 40 ml Cachaça
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 250 ml sparkling water
- ice cubes (for glasses)
- mint (for garnish)
Instructions

Wash the lemon and cut several slices, then finely chop them. Brew the tea with ½ liter of boiling water and let it steep for about 3 minutes. Fill a pitcher with ice cubes, pour the tea over it. Add the lime juice and Cachaça, then top everything off with sparkling water.

For serving, place lemon pieces and some ice cubes in glasses and pour the chilled tea over them. Garnish the iced tea with mint.
