Ingredients

  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 split vanilla beans
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 handful edible organic rose petals
  • Mineral water to top up (still or sparkling)

Instructions

    Slowly bring the sugar with 300 ml water to a boil while stirring and simmer for about 10 minutes.

    Remove from heat, add the spices and rose petals and let steep for about 2 hours.

    Transfer the syrup into bottles and fill with mineral water. Serve well chilled.
