- 500 g rhubarb
- 500 g sugar
- 8 large elderflower blossoms
- 500 g sugar

Wash the rhubarb, trim the ends, remove the fibers, and cut into 4 cm pieces. Combine with sugar and 500 ml water, heat until the sugar dissolves, remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.

Pass through a fine hair sieve, pour into a sterilized bottle, seal tightly and store cool. For the elderflower syrup, also heat the blossoms with sugar and 500 ml water, dissolve the sugar, and fill a sterilized bottle. Seal firmly and keep cool.
