  • 4 pears
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar

    Wash, stem, peel the elderberries, cook with little water until they break down, then strain through a sieve.

    Add peeled and finely chopped pears, cook with sugar for 5 minutes while stirring constantly (do a gel test), then fill hot jars with twist-off lids.
