Heart Waffles with Berry Cream

Ingredients
- 150 g mixed berries (frozen)
- 250 g white couverture chocolate
- 125 ml whipping cream
- 100 g cream cheese
- 250 g soft butter
- 80 g honey
- 4 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 250 ml milk
- 400 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- oil for the waffle iron

Let the berries thaw on a plate for the cream. Roughly chop the chocolate and place it in a bowl. Bring the cream to a boil and pour over the chocolate, stirring until melted. Chill for about 30 minutes.

Whisk the butter with honey, eggs, and salt until frothy. Stir in the milk, then add flour and baking powder, mixing well. Preheat the waffle iron and brush with oil. Pour 2–3 Tbsp of batter onto each waffle, close the lid, and bake for about 3 minutes. Keep finished waffles warm in a 80 °C fan oven if desired.

Whip the chilled chocolate-cream mixture until fluffy. Stir in smooth cream cheese and fold in the berries gently. Serve over the waffles.
