Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 100 g ground hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Salt
  • 125 g butter
  • 75 g sugar
  • 250 ml milk
  • vegetable oil (for greasing)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Separate the eggs. Mix the flour with the ground hazelnuts, baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Cream the butter with the sugar and gradually fold in the yolks. Alternately stir the dry mixture and milk into the butter mixture; beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold them into the batter.

    Preheat the waffle iron, lightly grease it, and pour 2–3 tablespoons of batter onto each section. Cook until golden brown, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
