Hawaiian Toast

Retro classic with vacation vibes: This Hawaiian toast transports you straight to the tropics – simply prepare it following Spoonsparrow's guidelines!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 30 g Butter
  • 4 slices canned pineapple
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • 4 slices Gouda cheese
  • 1 tbsp cocktail cherry

Instructions

    Toast one side of each slice in a pan over medium heat. Then spread butter on the toasted side. Layer a slice of ham, pineapple, and cheese on each piece, and place the prepared breads on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan, gas level 3) for about 14 minutes until golden and bubbly.

    Remove from the oven, arrange on plates, and garnish each with a cocktail cherry.
