Ground Meatballs

The ground meatballs from Spoonsparrow are always a hit – whether as a party snack, at a picnic or just in between.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf roll (from the day before)
- 2 Spring Onions
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 chili pepper
- 600 g mixed ground meat
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp hot paprika powder
- oil for frying

Soak the roll in lukewarm water. Wash, trim and finely chop the spring onions. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash, trim and chop the chili pepper. Place the ground meat in a large bowl. Add the squeezed roll with the spring onions, garlic, chili, parsley, egg, salt, pepper and paprika to the meat. Knead well and shape small balls from the mixture.

Brown the meatballs in hot oil in a non-stick pan for 6-8 minutes on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
