- 1 kg mixed ground meat
- 1 roll of bread (from yesterday)
- 4 eggs
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped marjoram
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tart apple
- 2 bell peppers (red and green)
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan‑forced. Grease a casserole dish. Place the ground meat in a bowl and soak the bread roll in a little water, then crumble it and add one egg to the meat. Peel and finely chop the onion, mix with the marjoram and combine with the meat. Season with salt and pepper, spread evenly in the dish and press down smoothly.

Wash, peel, quarter the apple, remove the core and dice the flesh. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, clean and dice them as well. Whisk together the cream, crème fraîche, fruit and vegetable cubes, and the remaining eggs until smooth; season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Spread this mixture over the meat and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes.
