Ingredients

  • 1 jar ready-made sauce (Bolognese, 500 g)
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 350 g short macaroni
  • Salt
  • 4 eggs
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • Grated nutmeg
  • 75 g parmesan (shredded)
  • 75 g gouda (finely grated)
  • fat for greasing the dish

Instructions

    Heat the Bolognese sauce and season with cinnamon. Meanwhile, cook the macaroni in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain in a colander and let cool.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C. Beat the eggs, seasoning with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix in parmesan and gouda; set aside two tablespoons. Combine the remaining cheese and half the egg mixture with half the pasta.

    Place the pasta mixture in a greased baking dish, spread the meatball ragout over it. Add the remaining pasta, then pour the rest of the egg mixture on top. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in the oven (middle rack, fan 180°C) for 40 minutes. Serve with green salad.
