Ingredients
- 12 sardines
- pepper (from the effort)
- Lemon juice
- olive oil
- 12 slices of white bread (or ciabatta)
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 150 g sea salt

Preheat the grill.

Wash the sardines, pat dry, remove head and fins, open them, carefully pull out the middle spine, season both sides with pepper, drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil, then grill each side for about 3 minutes on the hot grill. Place the bread on the grill and toast both sides.

Meanwhile wash rosemary, shake dry, strip needles, finely chop and grind with salt in a mortar.

Arrange sardine fillets on the toasted bread slices and sprinkle with rosemary salt before serving.
