Grilled Sardines

Ingredients
- 8 sardines (ready to cook)
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp peppercorns
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 dried chili pepper
- juice of 1 lemon
- Sea salt
- 4 slices country bread
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 red bell peppers
- black olives

Wash the sardines, pat dry and lightly score the skin. Coarsely crush peppercorns and dried chili in a mortar, mix with 4 tbsp olive oil, juice of half a lemon and a pinch of salt; rub this mixture onto the fish.

Grill on a hot grill for about 2 minutes per side.

For the salad, wash tomatoes, slice them and arrange on a plate. Wash peppers, halve, deseed and cut into strips. Add olives over the tomatoes and drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil and remaining lemon juice. Season with salt and let sit briefly.
