Grilled Paprika Toasts

These exceptionally low-calorie gratinated paprika breads are packed with many cell-protecting vitamins and plant pigments.

Ingredients

  • 200 g red bell pepper (1 red bell pepper)
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 10 g grated cheese (17% fat)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 slices light crispbread (wheat)

Instructions

    Quarter the bell pepper, remove seeds, wash and dice finely.

    Clean and rinse the spring onions, then slice into very thin rings.

  3. 3.

    Wash the thyme, shake dry and pluck leaves from one sprig. Mix with paprika, onions and cheese in a small bowl. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

    Spread the mixture onto the crispbread slices. Broil under the oven grill or bake at 200 °C (180 °C fan, gas level 3) for 4‑5 minutes until golden. Garnish with remaining thyme and serve immediately.
