Grilled Mackerel

Grilled mackerel not only tastes delicious but is especially healthy for our heart and brain thanks to omega‑3 fatty acids.
Ingredients
- 4 mackerels (about 300 g each; ready to cook)
- 2 Organic Limes
- 1 handful Mediterranean herbs (e.g., marjoram and rosemary)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Rinse the mackerels under running water and pat them dry with paper towels. Wash the herbs, pat them dry, and remove the leaves. Rinse the limes hot, dry them, and cut in half.

Season the inside and outside of each fish with salt and pepper, then fill them with lime halves and herbs. Drizzle the skin with olive oil and place the fish on a fish tongs. Grill over preheated heat for about 5–10 minutes per side.
