Greek Salad
Looking for a healthy and tasty starter? The Greek Salad from Spoonsparrow is just right and always works well.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 Red Onion
- 0.5 head romaine lettuce
- 1 green bell pepper
- 200 g feta cheese (9% fat)
- 100 g black olives (pitted)
- 4 tbsp white wine vinegar (60 ml each)
- 6 tbsp olive oil (60 ml each)
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 handful fresh parsley (5 g)
- 1 handful thyme (5 g)
- 1 handful basil (5 g)

Wash the cucumber, remove the stem end and peel it. Then cut lengthwise in half and slice into rounds. Wash, clean and quarter the tomatoes. Peel, halve and finely slice the onions into half-rings. Wash the lettuce thoroughly, shake dry and cut into about 1 cm wide strips. Wash the bell pepper, deseed and also slice into thin half-rings. Cube the feta cheese and drain the olives well.

For the dressing whisk together vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Finely dice the garlic clove and stir in. Wash the herbs, shake dry, finely chop and add to the mixture as well.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Drizzle with the dressing and let it rest briefly. Before serving sprinkle the remaining herbs over the Greek salad and serve.
