Grilled Herb Tomatoes

Grilled herb tomatoes from Spoonsparrow are perfect for winding down after work and for grilling!

Ingredients

  • 8 ripe beef tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 g oregano (0.5 bunch)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes and halve them, brush with a little oil, place cut side down on a table or charcoal grill and grill until golden brown in a few minutes. In the meantime wash the oregano, shake dry and pluck off leaves. Peel the garlic. Chop both.

    Mix remaining oil with oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Brush the hot tomato cut surfaces with the mixture and serve immediately.
