Green Tomato Curry

Ingredients
- 600 g green tomatoes
- 2 shallots
- 600 ml poultry broth (or vegetable broth)
- 3 tbsp oil
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 80 g sour cream
- 200 g heavy cream
- 1 tsp green Thai curry paste
- 1 tbsp finely chopped basil
- 2 green tomatoes for garnish
- sesame oil for drizzling

Wash and chop the tomatoes. Peel and finely dice the shallots. Sauté the shallots in hot oil until translucent, add the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes, pour in the broth and simmer for about 30 minutes. Remove from heat, puree, and strain through a sieve.

Return the mixture to the pot, stir in the sour cream and heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, mix in the curry paste, taste and adjust seasoning. Slice the two green tomatoes into rounds, add them to the curry, bring to a boil once more, then serve in small bowls. Sprinkle with basil and drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
