Ingredients

  • 1 kg green asparagus
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Best quality olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsp mixed pepper (coarsely crushed)
  • coarse Sea salt

Instructions

    Wash the asparagus and trim the ends. Bring plenty of water to a boil, add salt, and cook the asparagus for 10 minutes until firm yet tender; remove and drain.

    For serving, pour 2–3 tablespoons of olive oil into four glasses, place the asparagus in each, and serve with the pepper mixture and sea salt on the side.
