Ingredients

  • 2 Handfuls Basil
  • 40 g peeled almond kernels
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 120 ml olive oil
  • 30 g freshly grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

    Wash the basil, shake dry and pluck the leaves. Toast the almonds in a hot pan without added fat, remove and let cool.

    Peel the garlic and blend it with the basil and almonds in a blender until fine. Slowly drizzle in the oil to form a creamy pesto. Mix in the parmesan and season with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice.
