On freshly baked bread or as an ingredient in sweet dishes and pastries, the grapefruit preserves from Spoonsparrow taste great!
Ingredients
- 10 juicy grapefruits
- 400 g pectin sugar (2:1)
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Instructions

Squeeze the fruit and scrape the flesh from the rind. Combine the juice with the flesh, pectin sugar, and lemon juice in a pot and bring to a boil.

Let it bubble for about 4 minutes, then remove from heat. Fill the prepared jars with the jam, seal tightly, flip them upright for 10 minutes, then turn them back over and let cool completely. Store the grapefruit preserves dark and cool.
