Vegetarian Wraps with Wasabi Cream, Avocado, Lettuce and Red Onion

Ingredients

  • 8 thin flatbreads (wrap tortillas)
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 50 g salad cream
  • 1 tsp wasabi (more to taste)
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 16 lettuce leaves (romaine, batavia or similar)
  • 1 large red onion

Instructions

    Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves. Mix the cream cheese with salad cream and wasabi; season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

    Spread some of the wasabi cream on each flatbread, lay the lettuce leaves on top and spread the remaining cream over them. Wash the avocados, halve them, remove the pit, cut into wedges and peel off the skin. Drizzle avocado wedges with lemon juice and place them on the lettuce. Peel the onion and slice into strips; briefly blanch in boiling water and add to the lettuce as well. Fold one side in slightly and roll up the wrap.
