- 2 Eggs
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3 tbsp butter (for the vegetables)

Wash, peel, and cut carrots lengthwise into sticks. Clean leeks, separate leaves, and slice remaining parts into rings. Blanch the vegetables for 3-5 minutes.

Grease a loaf pan, fill half with the meat mixture and smooth the surface. Place leek leaves in the center, arrange carrot sticks on top, cover with more leek leaves, then spread the remaining meat over them.

4.
Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 1.4 hours. Briefly sauté the leftover vegetables in hot butter just before the end of baking. Remove the loaf from the pan, surround it with the cooked vegetables, slice into portions, and serve Grandma's meatloaf.
