Gluten-Free Sheet Apple Cake

Ingredients
- 6 Apples
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- 200 g butter
- 200 g whole cane sugar
- 0.5 tsp vanilla powder
- 4 eggs (medium size)
- 120 g gluten‑free flour
- 50 g ground almonds
- 50 g corn starch
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions

Peel, quarter, core the apples and cut the flesh into strips. Mix with lemon juice.

Beat butter with 180 g sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until creamy. Sift flour, ground almonds, corn starch, baking powder and salt; fold into the egg mixture until smooth.

Spread the batter on a parchment‑lined sheet pan. Arrange apple strips in a tiled pattern over the batter and press lightly.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C fan, gas: level 2–3) for 45–50 minutes until golden brown (test with a skewer). Let cool.

Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon; dust the cake before serving.
