Glass Pasta Bake

The glass pasta bake from Spoonsparrow is ideal for a buffet and will definitely be well received!

Ingredients

  • 500 g spaghetti
  • Salt
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese (e.g., Parmesan)
  • pepper (ground)
  • butter (for the molds)
  • chives (for garnish)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C fan. Butter four fireproof ramekins or glasses.

    Cook the spaghetti in salted water al dente, rinse with cold water and drain. Wash and trim the celery, cut into thin strips about 6 cm long. Blanch in salted water for 3-4 minutes, then rinse. Combine the pasta and celery in the glasses. Whisk together the cream, milk, eggs, crème fraîche and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over the pasta mixture and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until golden. Serve the glass pasta bake garnished with chives.
