Garlic Baguette

For a family grill night or garden party with friends, the garlic baguette from Spoonsparrow should never be missing as a grilled side dish!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole grain baguette
  • 50 g butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 handful chives
  • 1 pinch coarse sea salt

Instructions

    Cut the baguette lengthwise in half and then cut each half again crosswise. Brush each slice with a little butter. Place on a hot grill or in a hot grill pan and roast over medium heat for 3 minutes.

    Meanwhile, wash the chives, shake off excess water, and cut into fine ribbons.

    Peel the garlic cloves, split them in half, and rub the halves over the toasted bread. Sprinkle the garlic baguette with salt and chives before serving.
