Ingredients

  • 1 bottle light red wine (0,75 l)
  • 1 untreated orange
  • 1 apple
  • 50 g sugar
  • 10 dried plums
  • 10 dried apricots
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • 5 cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 100 ml Calvados

Instructions

    Pour the red wine into a pot. Wash the orange hot, dry it and cut it into slices. Wash the apple and also slice it.

    Add both fruits with sugar, plums, apricots and split vanilla to the wine. Put the spices in a small muslin cloth, tie them into a small pouch and hang it in the punch.

    Heat and let it warm for about 10 minutes (do not boil!). Remove from heat, take out the spice pouch and stir in Calvados. Serve the punch with the fruits.
