Ingredients
- 125 g flour
- 1 egg
- 1 yolk
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 300 g calamari (prepped for cooking)
- 200 g young fish (prepped for cooking)
- 200 g giant shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 Zucchini
- 700 ml plant oil (for frying)
Instructions

Whisk the flour with the egg, yolk, 200 ml water and a pinch of salt and pepper into a smooth batter; let rest for about 15 minutes.

Wash and clean the calamari, cut the mantle into rings and the tentacles into pieces.

Rinse and pat dry the fish and shrimp.

Wash, trim, halve crosswise and slice the zucchini lengthwise into thin strips.

Heat oil in a pot (it’s hot when bubbles rise from a wooden spoon handle).

Dip the calamari, fish, shrimp and zucchini in the batter and fry in the hot oil until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve with assorted dips of choice.
