Ingredients

  • 500 g ready-to-cook small squid
  • flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • 500 ml vegetable oil
  • 4 lemons (halved)

Instructions

    Cut the squid into thick rings or cut through once. Beat the eggs and season lightly with salt. Coat the squid in flour, then dip in egg, and coat again in flour.

    Heat the oil (when a wooden stick held in the oil produces bubbles, it is hot enough!) and fry the squid portions. Arrange on plates with lemon halves and serve immediately.
