Ingredients

  • 1 kg parsnips
  • 3 l sprouting oil

Instructions

    Peel the parsnips and cut them into sticks. Heat the sprouting oil in a pot (small bubbles should rise when a wooden spoon is held in it).

    Fry the parsnip sticks in batches until they are lightly crisp brown, then drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle with salt before serving immediately.
