Ingredients
- 10 large waxy potatoes
- 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
- paprika powder
- Salt
- 4 Tbsp mayonnaise

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into evenly thick sticks. Rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove excess starch. Pat dry with a kitchen towel.

Toss the thick fries with oil and paprika powder. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the fries out in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 35 minutes, turning halfway through.

Remove the homemade fries from the oven, season with salt, and serve with mayonnaise.
