Ingredients
- 800 g ostrich fillet
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 tsp Pink peppercorns
- 0.5 tsp black peppercorns
- 0.5 tsp Coriander seeds
- 4 tbsp peanut oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- Salt

Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into large cubes. Slice the chili, remove the seeds and finely dice the flesh. Place the pink peppercorns with the black peppercorns and coriander in a mortar and crush roughly. Add the oil and mix thoroughly with the meat. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours to marinate.

Heat a large pot, sear the meat with its marinades on all sides for about 10 minutes until browned. Drizzle honey over it and season with salt. Plate in a bowl, garnish with herbs if desired, and serve with flatbread.
