Ingredients
- 500 g cherries
- 150 g butter
- 60 g powdered sugar (from raw cane sugar)
- 4 eggs
- 170 g spelt flour type 1050
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 60 g almond sticks
Instructions

Wash the cherries, trim stems and pit them. Cream the butter with 50 g powdered sugar and a pinch of salt until fluffy. Gradually fold in the eggs.

Sift the flour, mix with the baking powder, then alternately stir into the butter mixture with the milk.

If desired, grease the baking pan. Pour two-thirds of the batter into it, smooth the surface, and arrange the cherries on top. Spoon the remaining batter over the cherries and sprinkle with almonds.
